Paul S. Petrungaro is a native of the Chicagoland area. He completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University of Chicago in 1982, and completed his dental training at Loyola University Dental School in 1986. His specialty certificate, and Masters of Science Degree in Periodontics was received from Northwestern University in 1988.
Dr. Petrungaro initiated his practice limited to periodontal and implant surgery in 1988 on the southside of Chicago. From 1992-1994 he served as the Coordinator of Implantology in the Graduate Department of Periodontics at the Northwestern University Dental School. His clinical practice has evolved into the current facility and practice at 330 Frontage Road in Northfield, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to not only the finest dental surgical care available, but also to the wellness of the entire head and neck area. His commitment to providing referring clinicians and their patients with the highest level of periodontal, cosmetic and implant surgical care is focus of the practice, and has led to many of the advancements in surgical procedures that Dr. Petrungaro has been a pioneer of. His patients benefit from his extensive surgical experience in these related disciplines, and from the fact that routinely, Dr. Petrungaro can complete the patient's required surgical treatment in one visit, and they can enjoy the completion of their treatment in a fraction of the time that is commonly observed.
